Farm house in Pontasseive Florence

We wanted an authentic tuscan farm house experience so rented a very run down place 20mins out of Florence at Pontassieve.  It was a convenient base to explore Tuscany amongst the vines, dogs and cats but too cold and we missed the conveniences of modern hotels ie we were asked to deposit our rubbish in town and we couldn't drink the water.  At this stage in the holiday the kids were missing English TV for down time so was I...
