London Parks: Oren takes a dip in the Serpentine

One morning we set out early to fit as much in as possible however our plans were thwarted by an accidental fall by Oren into the freezing Serpentine Lake.  Hyde Park was cold and while I was cleaning my camera lens Oren decided to walk to the edge of the lake.  The edge is lined with concrete covered in slime so in order to correct a tumble he stepped down into the waters edge but quickly slid into the lake.  I managed to look up just as I saw a jogger run to Oren's aid, by then he was wet to his back and up his arms and covered in slim and duck poo.  After squeezing as much water out as possible and scraping muck off we approached an opening cafe to give us plastic bags to use in a taxi to get us home!
