We stayed at 7 mile Caravan Park just outside Hobart near the airport - it was really nice and walking distance to the beach. Our nearest town for groceries was Sorell an ordinary country town but with the best pick your own fruit farm. We got to pick strawberries, cherries, apricots, apples and tayberries -wonderful for the kids to see how the fruit grows.
