Changing Guards at the Palace

We walked to Buckingham Palace to see the Changing of the Guards.  This is a daily occurrence at 11.30am where the old guard comes off duty to be replaced by the new guard on the forecourt of Buckingham Palace. There is a procession, marching bands, lots of crowds and the red uniforms and bear skin hats to goggle at.  After this we walked through St James Park lots of flowers, bulbs, water fowl on the ponds and squirrels. At the end of the park is No. 10 Downing St where we happened upon a dignitary that was being cavalcade-ed out of the gate.
