Prague Czech Republic

Loved Prague a quintessential European city full of atmosphere, historic buildings and cobble stones - knew I'd like it when our taxi driver couldn't drive into the old quarter to drop us at our hotel we had to pull bags over ancient bumpy cobble stones.

The Iron Gate Hotel  a UNESCO protected building dating from the
14th C in the old town - walking distance to the main square was great, our
apartment was in the attic with thick exposed beams.

The hotel restaurant with venison dishes - note the deer head on the wall
and mummy looking sloshed!
