We had a very relaxing holiday on Castaway Island in Fiji, the trip started on New Years day 2016 and after a days travel we arrived. Amusingly we arrived just as cyclone Ula was visiting Fiji so we had a very wet rough welcome and no on the beach 'Bula' band. Luckily it passed after a few days and we made up for the lost time on water sports. The family tried the Banana boat ride with a traumatic flip off and lots of screaming... we did a fantastic drift snorkel on the drop off around Honeymoon Island, Oren had his first scuba diving lesson with mummy floating above him and the dive instructor holding his hand - whilst looking at the amazing under sea life, we used the paddle boards, jet skis and generally relaxed in the intense heat. We ate way too much and enjoyed hermit crab and cane toad races. Loved Castaway!
