Konnichiwa, ohayo gozaimass, arigato
gozaimass, sumimasen, sayonara the only words we knew but managed to get by on. During the Easter holidays 2015 we explored Kyoto, Hiroshima, Miyajima Island, Osaka, Nara, Takayama, Shirakawago, Hakone and Tokyo. Japan was fantastic! the transport system, the polite people, the cleanliness, the culture, the toilets, the food and the things we saw were memorable. We were lucky enough to be there for cherry blossom, so there were lots of cherry blossom sweets to have with green tea and lots of kimono being worn to take advantage of the beautiful blossom back drop.
