Someone recommended it to me and it turned out to be lots of fun. Some of the dunes are really steep, you usually end up with a face full of sand and your mouth if you scream the whole way.
The tour group we booked drives you out to the middle of no where, gives you a drink bottle and a dune board and basic braking instructions and then you are left to it. Felt like we were in the Sahara the day we went.
