The house specialty at Vila Chaumieres

Had a lovely meal out at Vila Chaumieres which is this small but atmospheric restaurant situated on the Erakor Lagoon.  It is highly recommended for its house specialty 'Coconut Crab'.  Monster crabs that consume coconuts so you can imagine the size of their claws - wouldn't like to come across one in real life while sun baking on the beach!


My one was smothered in garlic, yummy! could only use hands thus the shot.
